Flash Solar Simulators

Here you will find Sciencetech’s range of flash solar simulators. Flash solar simulators were designed to test large photovoltaic devices up to 2mx2m in size. It uses a heavy duty xenon flash lamp and AM1.5G calibrated solar filter to approximate the sun’s true spectral distribution following ASTM E927-05 (2005) Class A standards. The simulators fire short flashes of light to avoid heating a photovoltaic device for measuring its performance.

Concentrator Flash Solar Simulators

Sciencetech’s FSSC flash solar simulator concentrator is designed to illuminate small photovoltaic devices up to 5cm×5cm in size with up to 4000 suns peak intensity. The default spectral match is to ASTM AM1.5G, using a heavy-duty xenon flash lamp and spectral filtering.

Highly Collimated Flash Solar Simulators

Sciencetech’s large area highly collimated flash solar simulator is capable of illuminating targets of 1.8mx1.5m (or 1.5m diameter) with uniform solar illumination.

Large Area Flash Solar Simulators

Sciencetech’s large area flash solar simulator is capable of illuminating targets from 1mx1m up to 2mx2m with uniform solar illumination.
