powerMir - High Power QCL

The powerMir QCLs (Quantum Cascade Lasers) are a series of high-powered diodes (up to 3W) emitting in the main atmospheric transmission bands (4.0µm, 4.6µm, 4.8µm, 9.7 µm).

These ITAR-free, high powered Fabry-Perot laser sources operate in a quasi CW regime (pulsed operation down to few tens of nanoseconds and high frequency above MHz) at room temperature. The high average power and wall-plug efficiency of this product is perfectly suited for counter-measure and other defense applications.

The powerMIR series of QCLs is available in three different formats:

  • powerMir turnkey system
  • powerMir POEM (powerMir OEM) stand-alone OEM system
  • powerMir Quasi-CW HHL Laser Diode

Features powerMir turnkey system

powerMir turnkey solution is high power pulsed Quantum Cascade Laser based on proprietary technology, emitting in Mid-Infra-Red with its electronic driver. This system is ideal for laboratory reseach and technology.

  • Plug-and-play system perfect to use inside a lab
  • Stand alone system including: laser head, driver, heat exchanger
  • Control simultaneously 2 different laser heads (with different or identical wavelengths)
  • 1W @4.0µm, 1W @4.6µm,1.5W @4.8µm, 0.3W @9.Xµm
  • Central wavelengths 4.0, 4.6, 4.8, 9.Xµm /- 0.15 µm
  • Quasi-CW, high duty cycled pulsed

  • Central wavelength 4 µm or 4.6µm, or 4.8µm or 9.Xµm /- 0.1 µm
  • MODBUS communication for system integration and user-friendly PC software for configuration and tests
  • External TTL for synchronization
