Amplified Photodetectors

EOT's ET-2030A and ET-3000A are amplified sub-nanosecond response PIN photodetectors with a responsivity from 300nm to 1700nm.

Amplified photodetectors are used for low light level applications, typically monitoring the modulation of low power continuous wave (CW) lasers and laser diodes.

The indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) detectors extend the wavelength range from 900nm to 1700nm. With a 500ps risetime, they are suitable for signals up to 1.5GHz and their responsivity is 900V/W at 1300nm.

The silicon (Si) detectors offer a similar risetime but with spectral sensitivity from 300nm to 1000nm. They are ideal for all visible and near infrared laser wavelengths.
