Photonic Solutions is proud to offer low cost solar simulator systems, based on small area lenses, manufactured by Sciencetech. There are two lines available: SF and SciSun of solar simulators that produce up to 2 suns (AM1.5G) and class A uniformity over 1" and 2" diameters or square area, depending on the selected model.
Sciencetech offers small collimated beam solar simulators, SF series, for applications requiring a more collimated beam or more ultraviolet production than our SciSun series provides. The SciSun line of compact solar simulators is more efficient than the SF series and is a popular choice when collimated light or significant levels of ultraviolet on the target are not needed.
Sciencetech solar simulators include an arc lamp housing, arc lamp, power supply with igniter, filter holder and manual shutter. SF solar simulators also include ultraviolet fused silica lenses. The simulator can project the uniform field horizontally (standard) or vertically with the use of a beam turner. An option for fiber optic illumination is available, but requires an additional condenser and fiber mount.
Conformity with ASTM, IEC and JIS standards for spectral matching, non-uniformity, and temporal instability is available.
