Sciencetech is proud to offer the new line of ultra high efficiency (UHE) solar simulators. By utilising a completely new design for the beam homogenizer, the UHE systems are capable of far more efficiency and power than previously possible.
This all possible without sacrificing temporal stability, spatial uniformity, or spectral matching.
The UHE-33 class AAA solar simulator is capable of illuminating a 33x33cm area. The UHE-33 includes a frame and stand for mounting the UHE-33. The integrated stand allows the user to simply place their samples at the appropriate distance from the output plane of the UHE-33. The standard spectral range is from 400nm to 1100nm. The simulator comes complete with an AM1.5G air mass filter (other optional AM filters are also available), power supply and arc lamp.
The UHE-33C is the newest additon to UHE solar simulators. The UHE-33C device is designed to test concentrated photovoltaics or for increased stress testing, is capable of putting 1,000 suns on a 0.9x0.9cm target while adhering to class A temporal and spectral matching for ASTM standards for solar testing.
The UHE-33H is capable of illuminating a 10x10cm area and includes an integrated housing to allow the user to simply place their samples at the appropriate distance. It also includes the required optics to increase the collimation to 0.5 degrees, allowing the testing of large concentrated photovoltaic (CPV) cells, and for other applications requiring highly collimated solar light.
With UHR-45 you can illuminate a 45x45cm area. For testing of CPV or for increased stress testing choose UHE-45C. This device is capable of putting 1,500 suns on a 1.5x1.5cm target while adhering to class A temporal and spectral matching for ASTM standards for solar testing. For the CPV characteristic testing market, and for any other application where a highly collimated beam (0.5 degrees) of class A solar radiation is required use UHE-45H.
Sciencetech also offers extended spectral matching, both in the 300-400nm range and 1100-1800nm for all UHE-33 and UHE-45 solar simulators in the series.
