Mid Infrared Optical Frequency Comb

With the Mid Infrared Optical Frequency Comb, Menlo Systems have extended the wavelength coverage into the mid infrared (MIR) spectral region.

The mode frequencies are completely defined by the repetition rate only, as the carrier envelope offset frequency vanishes in a difference frequency generation process. The turnkey MIR Comb is the perfect tool for high accuracy spectroscopy in the fingerprint region of many molecules.


  • Spectral range 3.1-3.4μm and 6.5-7.8μm
  • Repetition rates 100MHz or 250MHz
  • High output power of up to 120mW @ 3.1-3.4μm
  • Spectral bandwidth of 200nm
