Injection Seeder system for Continuum's Surelite lasers.
Seeding produces an ultra-narrow single longitudinal mode output with a smooth temporal profile from the laser.
Seeding is accomplished by injecting a beam from a diode pumped fiber laser into the oscillator of the laser.
The seeder unit is rack mounted and connects to the Surelite with an optical fiber.
