Product Description

Levante Infrared is a synchronously pumped optical parametric oscillator (OPO) in an innovative new design with a picosecond (ps) or femtosecond (fs) pump source.

The pump source is a mode-locked ps or fs laser emitting at 1µm fixed. The generation of the signal and idler pulses in a parametric process is jitter-free with respect to each other as well as to the pump pulse.

The accessible wavelength range for the signal output is 1315 to 2000nm (ps), 1320 to 2000nm (fs) and the wavelength range for the idler output is 2150 to 4700nm when pumped at 1032nm (ps), 2150 to 4800nm when pumped at 1035nm (fs). The wavelength tuning itself is now fully automated.
