ET-3000 Series InGaAs Photodetectors

Biased InGaAs Photodetectors

EOT's ET-3000 series of biased indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) photodetectors cover 900nm to 1700nm. Four versions of this PIN photodiode have rise times from 175ps to 6ns.

EOT's biased photodetectors are used with Q-switched and mode locked lasers. Monitoring of industrial lasers, scientific lasers and lasers used in communications make up some of the photodetector markets.

Standard photodetectors have a positive bias. Photodetectors with a negative bias are available as a special option. These photodetectors are not internally terminated. Termination should occur at the oscilloscope (or other instrument). A 50Ω termination is optimal.
