CARBIDE Industrial Femtosecond Laser System

The Light Conversion CARBIDE industrial femtosecond laser system is designed for demanding scientific research and precision manufacturing applications. Combining high average power, excellent beam quality and exceptional long-term stability, CARBIDE delivers tunable femtosecond pulses for applications including ultrafast spectroscopy, precision micromachining, micro- and nanofabrication, advanced microscopy and materials processing.

Available in air-cooled and water-cooled configurations, CARBIDE offers pulse durations from 190 fs to 20 ps, repetition rates from single-shot to 10 MHz, and output power up to 120 W or pulse energy up to 2 mJ, depending on configuration. Optional harmonic generation and ORPHEUS optical parametric amplifiers extend the available wavelengths from the UV into the mid-IR.

The CARBIDE laser system is extremely robust and reliable, complementing the PHAROS with higher average powers and faster rep rates.
