Founded in 2003, Si-Ware Systems (SWS) is a fabless semiconductor company that is fostering silicon innovation.
Si-Ware’s Optical MEMS Technology business has developed the worlds’ first single-chip FT-IR spectrometer under the brand name NeoSpectra™, using its unique platform – Silicon integrated Micro Optical Systems Technology (SiMOST™), that allows for the creation of multiple optical components on silicon.
NeoSpectra sensing solutions are miniature and low cost spectral sensors and scanners that can be used in a wide variety of material sensing applications. The solutions offer performance comparable to laboratory based spectrometers, but at dramatically smaller sizes and lower costs.
The NeoSpectra-Micro is the world’s smallest FT-IR sensor based on monolithic MEMS technology. It features an integrated spectral sensor that can be used in a wide variety of material sensing applications for qualification and quantification. The sensor offers performance comparable to laboratory based spectrometers, but at a dramatically smaller size and lower cost.
NeoSpectra scanners are portable and handheld spectral sensing devices based on FT-IR spectroscopy which can be used in a wide variety of material sensing applications. In NeoSpectra, all the optical and mechanical components are integrated on single MEMS chip, enabling FT-IR functionality on a chip scale. The monolithic integration is enbaled by using Si-Ware Systems’ proprietary Silicon integrated Micro Optical Systems Technology (SiMOST) platform.
