FIRST IN PHOTONICS
Photonic Solutions represent NKT for their SuperK series of industry leading, turn-key supercontinuum white light lasers and the Koheras range of ultra narrow linewidth, low noise single frequency fiber laser.
NKT Photonics' supercontinuum lasers come in a range of power levels and spectral coverage. Select the FIANIUM and EXTREME series if you need maximum wavelength coverage, high power and lots of functionality. Choose the COMPACT series if you are looking for a cost-effective and compact solution. The sources are extremely robust and reliable, built for intensive use and can replace multiple single line lasers, large dye and gas lasers as well as broadband sources like ASE sources and SLEDs.
NKT Photonics’ Koheras fiber lasers are ultra low noise fiber lasers with longitudinal single mode and single frequency operation. Available as compact OEM modules, such as BasiK, or turn-key benchtop units, BoostiK, the Koheras laser are available within a wide range of wavelengths in the 1μm and 1.5μm range.
The lasers are based on a DFB design ensuring robust and reliable operation with an unprecedented low phase and intensity noise level together with mode-hop free, inherent single frequency output. One of the key advantages of NKT’s DFB fiber laser technology is the freedom to choose the operating wavelength and due to the excellent beam quality, frequency conversion can efficiently bring many important applications in atomic physics within reach.
NKT Photonics' SuperK Fianium is built on the World’s best-selling supercontinuum laser - the SuperK EXTREME- but the new SuperK FIANIUM has upgraded electronics and new fiber technology giving you the best performance and reliability on the market. And it is even easier to use – no laser expertise needed. It delivers high brightness diffraction limited light in the entire 390-2400 nm region. By adding one of NKT's computer-controlled filters, the SuperK FIANIUM can be converted into an ultra-tunable laser.
NKT Photonics' SuperK EVO HP is optimized for reliability, footprint, and cost making it the ideal solution for OEM integration in demanding commercial applications. Offering up to 3W output power from 400-2400nm range and a high repetition rate of 20 MHz.
NKT Photonics' SuperK EXTREME supercontinuum supercontinuum white light lasers are broad as a lamp and bright as a laser. They deliver high brightness diffraction limited light in the entire 390-2400 nm region. By adding one of NKT's computer-controlled filters, the SuperK can be converted into an ultra-tunable laser.
The SuperK COMPACT is the world's most economical supercontinuum source, providing a wide spectral output from 450nm to 2400nm and with a brightness orders of magnitude larger than that of incandescent lamps and with far greater bandwidth than ASE sources or SLEDs. The light is delivered in a single mode fiber terminated with either a standard FC/PC connector or our high quality collimator.
NKT Photonics' SuperK EVO is a cost-efficient white light laser based on NKT's extremely reliable fiber laser technology. Offering very high brightness across the 500-2000 nm range and a high repetition rate of 20 MHz, the EVO is perfectly suited for Test & Measurement and optical device characterization.
The SuperK VARIA is a cost effective and flexible alternative to a monochromator, effectively turning the SuperK supercontinuum laser into a powerful single-line laser with a 440 nm tuning range and variable bandwidth. The center wavelength of the pass band can be tuned anywhere between 400 and 840 nm and the bandwidth is variable between 10 and 100 nm.
The LLTF Contrast is a continuously tunable high-resolution bandpass filter that effectively converts an NKT Photonics’ supercontinuum source into a widely tunable picosecond laser. The filter transmits - with high efficiency - a single laser line while blocking unwanted lines with excellent out-of-band suppression.
The SuperK SPLIT is a passive filter which allows the SuperK spectrum to be divided into two spectral outputs. This is important in applications where light from one sub-area of the spectrum is desired and light outside this spectrum is parasitic.
The SuperK SELECT is a tunable multi-wavelength filter based on Acousto-Optic Tunable Filter technology (AOTF). AOTFs tune over one octave of optical frequency and the SuperK SELECT allows the integration of two AOTF crystals to provide wide spectral coverage. The SuperK SELECT provides an easy to use, flexible, and accurate tuning accessory to access any wavelength in the SuperK spectrum.
The Koheras BOOSTIK is a compact fiber amplifier module designed for NKT Photonics' low-noise, narrow-linewidth Koheras seed lasers and is available for the 1.5-micron wavelength range. The amplifier module is designed as a line card for the Koheras ACOUSTIK multi-wavelength system which also supports the Koheras BASIK seed lasers.
