Photonic Solutions was established in March 1999. We are now recognised as one of Europe's leading optoelectronics companies with an impressive track record of success. Year on year growth has been maintained at an average of >25%. We are an independent company who design and market a wide range of solutions for cutting edge research and industry; embracing world leading innovative laser systems and related optical components from more than 24 internationally renowned suppliers.

Where is Photonic Solutions based?
Photonic Solutions is based in a custom-designed centre in an Edinburgh business park. The facility has doubled in size to include two fully equipped optics laboratories and an impressive service facility to provide maintenance, repair, calibration and customisation of all the systems supported.

Photonic Solutions is a solutions based rather than product based company, with the products forming the core of optoelectronic solutions including lasers, optics, spectroscopy instrumentation, complete spectrometer systems, laser diagnostics, detectors and laser safety equipment.

What is new at Photonic Solutions?
You'll notice that we have launched a brand new website www.photonicsolutions.co.uk and later this year we will be launching a new web shop www.photonicshop.co.uk for on-line purchasing.
We have invested in all new IT systems and software and this is now all fully operational. This has resulted in new email addresses and new web addresses as above.
We have simplified the structure of the company from a PLC to a Limited company to reduce corporate overheads.
Photonic Solutions is now a central stocking hub for many of the range of JDSU lasers. We offer next day service Europe wide.
